Belgian superstar Lotte Kopecky has announced a wide brushstroke of her upcoming 2024 campaign with two key objectives: an Olympic Track medal and a crack at Paris-Roubaix.

As for 2024, apart from Roubaix, Kopecky told Sporza that he is also keen to make a mark at Paris OIympics with Omnium in mind for his track debut in the game.

"Of course, winning the game is in my mind, but I know how difficult it is to win even in a normal race," she said. "I dream of a medal. I really hope my training will be as good as possible [so] if it goes perfect, you will usually be in your best shape in the game.

"Then it's not so easy to control things, it all depends on the race."

Kopecky said that when planning her season, she did not realize that while the Olympic road race was more than a week away from the start of the Tour de France Femme, Omnium and Grand Départ were only 24 hours away. But she made it very clear that the goals of her track were not going to be sacrificed as a result.

"I was busy making some plans last week and I noticed that too," she told Sporza.

"I don't know how to do it. We will soon get acquainted with the team and the federation, and we will have to find a compromise. Not doing the Olympic omnium is not an option.

On top of her summer goals, the 27-year-old said the spring classic will not disappear from her goals, but with a victory at Paris-Roubaix "high on the wish list.""

And while claiming that, in terms of her age and experience, she is currently at the top of her game, kopecky also says that improvement as a racer can't really stop

"It's often also about the mental side. It's sometimes slightly more important than the purely physical aspect, especially to me," she said.

"I may have to make some decisions about which path I want to go. But at the moment, I don't want to change anything now."
