The 2024 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift is expected to visit the Alps and culminate on the final day at the top of the legendary L'Alpe d'Huez climb.

According to a report by Dauphiné Libéré, the last 2 days of the race for the women's Tour de France are expected in the Alps.

The French regional newspaper also suggests that the Men's 2024 Tour de France will visit the Alps twice for a total of 4 days of the race: first in Italy after the grand departure, on the stage over the Col du Garibier to Valois, and then in the final week the mountain stage will be held at the Super Devolution. It is expected to reach the city, then Barcelonette and Isola 2000, via the highest road in Europe, Sime de la Bonnet.

The Tour de France 2024 Route Fam and the men's Tour de France will be revealed jointly at a special ceremony at the Palais des Congres in Paris on 10/25.

Stage 7 of the Tour de France Femme will end at the ski area of Le Grand Bornand in the Haute Savoie in the Northern Alps. Stage 8 will then pass through Le Bourg-D'Oisans, leading to a 21km ascent to the ski resort of L'Alpe D'Huez through the famous 13.9 switchbacks.

Race organizer Aso has already announced that Rotterdam will host the 2024 Tour de France Femme Grand de Paint and host 3 stages before the Netherlands heads to France.

In France, 4 stages will be deployed over 5 days, with a road stage and time trial scheduled for the morning and afternoon double header of 8/13 (Tue).

Paris will host the Olympics in 2024 and will not be used as a starting or ending venue for the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femme.

The Men's Grand Tour began in Florence, Italy, on 6/29, ended in Nice, France, on 7/21, and the women's race was postponed until after the Paris 8/12/18 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The summit finish at L'Alpe d'Huez has been featured 30 times over the years in the Tour de France and is expected to be a highlight for Tour de France riders Femmes.

In other news on potential tour routes, according to expert website Velowire, all stages have been confirmed, including a time trial near Dijon and a gravel road near Trois at the end of the first week. The finish at Pla D'adet and Plateau de Beille in the Pyrenees during the second week is also expected before the final week of the High Alps and the final stage time trial to Nice.
